Road Trip | Lachen-Gurudongmar Lake-Chopta-Kala Patthar-Lachung

Gurudongmar lake is located at a surface elevation of 17,800 ft (5,430 m) and covers an area of 290 acres making it the largest lake in the whole of Sikkim. The India-China border is just a few kilometres away from the lake. This lake is considered very sacred by both Buddhists and Hindus. Mzaar Kfardebian — formerly Faraya Mzaar is a ski area in Lebanon and the largest ski resort in the Middle East. It was founded in the late 1950s. There are 42 slopes and 80km of piste spread across three distinct valleys — named Wardeh, Jonction and Le Refuge – plus a number of ski schools and a wide variety of options for snowboarding, snow-shoeing, ski-touring, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.
